Not so sure this story needs to be here, or perhaps when people follow up on this, they will see that this mother searched for help for post natal depression……but was rejected…

this story shouldn’t be on here, the poor woman was suffering from PND and the doctors and hospitals down south did nothing to help her

I am certain this story shouldn’t be on here – I understand the mother was probably suffering from Post Natal Psychosis a mush rarer form of PND, and needs our understanding. I hope with all my heart that the family are much better now.

I think it does need to be here. It’s true that the mother may not have been in her right mind as it were when she attacked her child and should certainly not be held as much to blame as in many other cases. However PNP or PND are a danger to children and need to be taken care of. Looking after the mental health of mothers and parents can help avoid tragedies like this happening.

So that is all you need to attempt murder. There are plenty of people with PND and they don’t. What about the poor baby? She didn’t deserve that!!!

Yes it’s bizarre that some people think there are circumstances where the attempted murder of an innocent child can be excused.
